Roblox's Top Games, July 2026: Brookhaven Holds, New Releases Surge

Bar graphs showing top 10 Roblox games in July.

Roblox’s July rankings offered a mix of the familiar and the unexpected.  Brookhaven remained the platform’s most consistently played experience, but several newer games climbed immediately into the top four, pushing long-running Roblox staples further down the chart.

Animal Hospital, Grow a Garden 2, and +1 Speed Keyboard Escape each averaged more than 350K concurrent players during July. Animal Hospital and Grow a Garden 2 both launched in June, while +1 Speed Keyboard Escape debuted in March, making all three relatively new additions to Roblox’s upper ranks. Animal Hospital came especially close to taking the top spot, finishing just behind Brookhaven in average concurrent players. Together, their success reinforces the continued strength of accessible simulation and survival games on Roblox.

The rankings in the monthly chart above are based on the monthly average of daily concurrent player data collected by Rollimons during July. To qualify, a game must have at least 14 complete days of player data. This prevents late-month releases from ranking primarily on the strength of an initial launch spike and gives player activity more time to normalize.

Brookhaven remains Roblox’s most dependable hit

Brookhaven once again occupied the top position, averaging approximately 546K concurrent players in July, an 8% increase from June. More importantly, it remained ahead of several major releases from the past quarter despite launching more than five years ago.

Brookhaven has long been one of Roblox’s defining social experiences. Rather than relying on traditional objectives, progression systems, or competitive matches, it gives players a flexible digital environment where they can roleplay, socialize, explore homes, drive vehicles, and create their own scenarios.

That open-ended formula has given the game remarkable consistency, with Brookhaven averaging at least 400K concurrent players every month since June 2023. While newer releases may generate larger short-term peaks, few have been able to match Brookhaven’s sustained day-to-day engagement.

Three recent launches crowd the top of July’s rankings

Immediately behind Brookhaven are three comparatively new games: Animal Hospital, Grow a Garden 2, and +1 Speed Keyboard Escape. Although their themes differ significantly, all three belong to survival or simulation categories that we identified in a previous article as particularly strong performers on Roblox.

Animal Hospital came closest to challenging Brookhaven for the top spot. The cooperative survival-horror game places up to four players on the night shift at a veterinary clinic, where they must diagnose and treat animals while identifying dangerous anomalies disguised as normal patients. Its simple structure and emphasis on cooperation make it particularly well suited to Roblox’s social, accessible play patterns. The game launched in the second half of June and saw a strong lift in July, more than doubling its average from approximately 219K in June to 471K in July.

Grow a Garden 2 is Jandel’s follow-up to Roblox’s farming phenomenon. It retains the original loop of buying seeds, growing crops, and selling harvests, while expanding the formula with a larger map, redesigned crop systems, and guild competitions. The sequel launched in June and remained relatively stable, averaging more than 450K concurrent players in both June and July.

+1 Speed Keyboard Escape uses a much simpler progression loop. Players gain speed with every step before racing across obstacle courses made from oversized keyboard keys, where one missed jump can send them back to the start. As an incremental simulator, it offers a very familiar game loop and has been steadily growing month-over-month since its launch in March.

Murder Mystery 2 finds new momentum

Murder Mystery 2 was one of July’s biggest movers among Roblox’s established hits. The social-deduction game averaged approximately 341K concurrent players in July, its highest monthly average of 2026 and a 72% increase from June.

Murder Mystery 2’s resurgence demonstrates the value of major updates for long-running Roblox games. When its Summer event launched on July 22, daily CCU jumped 80% overnight, from approximately 297K to 534K players, before peaking above 623K on July 25. The update introduced a new map and quests, giving the game’s established audience a clear reason to return. Unlike many leading Roblox experiences that release content weekly, Murder Mystery 2 spaces out its larger updates, which may help those events feel more consequential when they arrive. The next test will be whether that momentum carries through the remainder of the summer.

Adopt Me!, 99 Nights in the Forest, and Steal a Brainrot continue fluctuating

Adopt Me!99 Nights in the Forest, and Steal a Brainrot remained among Roblox’s most-played experiences, although all three experienced significant fluctuations during 2026.

Adopt Me! and 99 Nights in the Forest on Roblox

Adopt Me! averaged approximately 290K concurrent players in July, a slight decline from June, making it one of only two top 10 games to see engagement decrease during the month. Its performance has fluctuated significantly this year, rising from approximately 283K in February to 463K in April before falling back below 300K in July.

99 Nights in the Forest followed a different trajectory. After averaging more than 557K concurrent players in January, it declined for several consecutive months, reaching approximately 187K in May. The survival game has since begun recovering, increasing to 223K in June and approximately 243K in July.

That represented a month-over-month improvement of roughly 9%, although the game remains well below its early-2026 level. The rebound may reflect recent content updates and seasonal shifts in player activity.

Steal a Brainrot has been even more volatile. After peaking at approximately 500K average concurrent players in February, it fell to 179K in June before rebounding 18% to around 212K in July. The recovery was meaningful, but the game remained well below its early-year high.

These movements underline how heavily Roblox engagement can be influenced by content updates, new releases, and shifting player attention. Even the platform’s largest games can see significant engagement shifts as new content arrives, competing games launch, and players cycle between familiar favorites.

Blox Fruit stabilizes, while Rivals continues its gradual decline

While several established games gained ground in July, Blox Fruits and Rivals remained well below their early-year highs.

Blox Fruits edged up slightly in July, averaging approximately 217K concurrent players compared with 211K in June. The 2.5% increase interrupted its recent decline, but did little to change the broader trend. The game averaged more than 431K in January and has lost nearly half of that audience over the first seven months of 2026.

Rivals continued moving downward. Its average CCU fell another 4% in July, declining from approximately 213K to 205K players. The shooter has now recorded five consecutive months of declining engagement since reaching more than 304K average concurrent players in February.

Both games remain among Roblox’s most-played experiences, but neither has regained the momentum seen earlier in the year. Blox Fruits showed early signs of stabilization in July, while Rivals continued a more consistent erosion of engagement. A major update could quickly change either trajectory, but for now, July’s strongest momentum belongs to newer releases and established games benefiting from fresh content.

Reaching Roblox’s top 10 is only the beginning

July showed that newer experiences can quickly challenge Roblox’s established leaders. Animal Hospital, Grow a Garden 2, and +1 Speed Keyboard Escape all reached the top four by pairing accessible concepts with gameplay loops that encourage repeat play. However, the movement of games like Adopt Me!, 99 Nights in the Forest, Steal a Brainrot, Blox Fruits, and Rivals also shows how quickly engagement can shift as updates arrive and players move between experiences.

The next challenge for July’s breakout games will be sustaining that attention after their initial momentum fades. Brookhaven remains the benchmark, not because it consistently generates the platform’s largest short-term spikes, but because it has transformed a flexible social experience into a lasting player habit. Reaching the top 10 can happen quickly. Staying there requires a much stronger foundation.
