As Roblox becomes a go-to platform for Gen Z engagement, celebrities, especially music artists, are using it to promote albums, sell virtual merchandise, and cultivate a new generation of global fans. Whether it's through branded UGC avatar items, their own games, or integrating into existing games, celebrity appearances on Roblox keep coming.

Below is a list of notable celebrity activations on Roblox to date.

Kevin Durant

NBA star Kevin Durant made an official appearance in a Paris Saint-Germain–branded obby on Roblox in June of 2025, marking one of the first crossovers between football-world partnerships and NBA athletes on Roblox. The experience featured Durant’s avatar in PSG gear and holding two basketballs. Players could go up to the Durant NPC and then complete a survey for the brand.

The Weeknd

In May of 2025, The Weeknd launched his thematic “HURRY UP TOMORROW” Avatar Bundle and Hub on Roblox to support his new film and tour of the same name. Released by XO Productions, the activation included an immersive hub experience, exclusive avatar accessories (like the XO chain), and a Starboy Strut emote.

Chappell Roan

Pop star Chappell Roan dropped custom avatar bundles and a signature "HOT TO GO!" emote on Roblox in February of 2025. The release featured brightly styled digital outfits and one-of-a-kind animated gestures.

Charli XCX

In August 2024, Charli XCX teamed up with the viral fashion game Dress to Impress on Roblox for her “Brat Summer” album activation. The collaboration featured neon-lime “Brat” themed outfits, poses (including the “Apple” dance), and a revamped hub stage—bringing her high-energy pop world into the game’s runway mechanics. The event drove over 16 million Brat-themed rounds and attracted 2.4 million new users, while social shares spiked with user-generated content across TikTok and YouTube—showcasing how thoughtfully aligned Roblox activations amplify artist reach and community engagement.

Karlie Kloss

The supermodel and tech entrepreneur opened her own fashion-focused world on Roblox. In March 2023, Kloss unveiled “Fashion Klossette”, a Roblox experience dedicated to designing and styling digital fashion.

Paris Hilton

The media personality and businesswoman created an experience in Roblox called “Paris World.” She first launched Paris World in October 2021 and even DJed a New Year’s Eve party there for Roblox users. Later in 2023, she launched a new Slivingland” experience, highlight how celebrities can extend their brand in Roblox – in her words, allowing fans to experience her life and style “in the digital world."

Cher

The iconic singer made her Roblox debut with an event in December 2023 to promote her new holiday album Christmas. In collaboration with Warner Music and game studio Gamefam, Cher launched a festive four-week takeover of Harmony Hills (WMG’s music hub on Roblox). The “Cher Christmas” experience featured virtual merch inspired by Cher’s looks, mini-games set to her music, and in-game integration of songs like “DJ Play a Christmas Song.”

Olivia Rodrigo

The chart-topping pop singer collaborated with Roblox in December 2023 to create “Party!!! at Olivia’s Place,” a virtual house party experience. Launched to coincide with her GUTS album tour, Olivia’s Roblox world lets fans hang out in a digital version of her bedroom and closet. Users can dance, chat, and shop Olivia’s real-life fashion items in-game. The experience – developed with her record label – is filled with Easter eggs from her music videos and even features custom emotes of her signature dance moves. By iting fans into her Roblox “house,” Rodrigo used the platform to enhance fan engagement and promote her music in an interactive way.

Nicki Minaj

In December 2023, Nicki Minaj joined Roblox with her own immersive space to celebrate her album Pink Friday 2. In a deal with metaverse developer Karta, she launched “Nicki Minaj’s Gag City”, a virtual 3D shopping experience on Roblox. In Gag City, fans (nicknamed the Barbz) can explore a virtual mall of Nicki-inspired fashion, try on outfits from Nicki’s iconic looks, and purchase exclusive emotes and avatar items tied to her album release. Nicki even gave out free UGC gifts to early visitors.

David Guetta

The superstar DJ/producer held a “DJ Party” in Roblox in February 2022, in partnership with Warner Music. Billed as Roblox’s first EDM concert, Guetta’s avatar performed a 45-minute set in an intergalactic-themed virtual nightclub complete with dance battles and interactive puzzles. The event let Roblox players experience a rave-like show, and even included a Q&A with Guetta. This collaboration demonstrated how a famous DJ could turn a Roblox server into a massive dance party for fans worldwide.

LeBron James

The NBA superstar ventured into Roblox as part of a Nike collaboration. In February 2022, LeBron’s avatar visited NIKELAND (Nike’s Roblox world) during All-Star Weekend, where he coached players through basketball mini-games and debuted virtual Nike LeBron 19 sneakers. Players could train with LeBron’s character and unlock Nike gear in this event. While brief, this collab brought a real-world athlete into Roblox’s ecosystem.

Elton John

The legendary singer-songwriter launched “Elton John Presents: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road” on Roblox in late 2022. This immersive world – inspired by Elton’s life and fashion – allowed fans to enjoy his music and style in-game. It featured virtual versions of Elton’s iconic outfits and a series of virtual concerts tied to his farewell tour (with performances running Nov 17–20, 2022). Elton John’s collaboration gave fans a new way to celebrate his legacy, complete with scavenger hunts and virtual merch, underlining the platform’s appeal even to music legends.

Mariah Carey

The “Queen of Christmas” partnered with Roblox in December 2022 to host “Mariah Carey’s Winter Wonderland.”  This was a four-night virtual concert residency in the Roblox game Livetopia, timed for the holiday season. Mariah’s avatar performed a mix of her hits and Christmas classics (including, of course, “All I Want for Christmas Is You”) each night from Dec 21 to Dec 24, 2022. The experience also featured a holiday treasure hunt and virtual merch designed with Mariah’s 11-year-old twins. In a press release, Carey noted that Roblox was a natural choice because “Christmas is my favorite time of year… My kids and I live for Roblox”, highlighting both the promotional aspect and her genuine family connection to the platform.
