Introducing the first batch of Roblox developers in a brand new Roblox directory.

Last week, I wrote about how it can be hard for brands and Roblox developers to connect with each other. There are lots of brands out there interested in launching on Roblox, and there are lots of developers who want to help those brands. But there's not an easy way for these two sides to find each other easily. So I invited Roblox developers to submit their information for a brand new Roblox Developers Directory.
The goal of the directory is to help Roblox developers raise their profile to gain the attention of brands interested in launching on Roblox. If you're a Roblox developer and are interested in submitting your info for the directory, you can do so by filling out the short form HERE.
The response to this open call was incredibly strong, and I was super excited to receive nearly 50 submissions within the first week. I was hoping I'd get at least 10 submissions total, so getting almost 5x that amount really exceeded by expectations.
While reviewing the submissions, what stood out to me the most was that many came from different companies and individuals in the Roblox space who don't necessarily just build games. There were some submissions from groups that focused on sound design, UGC design, general Roblox consulting, and more. I thought I was only going to get game development studios, so this wider pool of active creators and consultants in the space was a pleasant surprise.
To me, this wider than expected collection of builders speaks to the wide breadth of the Roblox ecosystem over all. You don't just have to build games to be working in the space and helping brands find success. I can attest to that, since I focus on Roblox marketing and strategy with brands.
To launch the Roblox Developer Directory, I've selected 10 of the first submissions that I received that have Roblox experience and (in most cases) have some brand experience as well. I decided to stick with game developers for now, but I'll be looking to expand the directory over time. I'll also be adding more companies and individuals to this list in the weeks to come.
